Our fast-curing epoxy resin liquid metal compound is ideal for filling molds and hairline cracks, sealing and plugging up cracks, holes, and aborted holes, and filling blowholes and casting faults.
LiqRep Metal offers outstanding adhesion on metals such as steel, iron, cast, aluminum, copper, and many more, as well as ceramic, concrete, wood, and many plastics.
- Very hard connection, brittle and with limited vibration tolerance as is typical of epoxy resin.
- High strength (high tensile strength and impact-resistant).
- Gap filling capacity of up to 10 mm.
- Temperature resistance from -30 °C to +120 °C (-22°F to +248°F).
- Optimum processing temperature at +22 °C (+71.6°F).
- Processing time/pot life of 4–6 minutes.
- Hand-tight after 10–12 minutes.
- Completely cured after 2–3 hours.
- Can be mechanically machined once cured (such as turning, milling, drilling, filing, or tapping).
- Can be ground and painted over.
- Resistant to water, salt water, coolants, oil, and many chemicals.
- Not suitable for PP, PE or PTFE.
The adhesive is cured by the chemical reaction between the resin and hardener.
