Our fast-curing polyurethane adhesive is suitable for repairing and gluing plastics (e.g., PMMA, ABS, PC, PVC, PA6, HPL, PS, GRP) on the engine and bodywork, as well as for gluing, plugging up, and filling holes, cracks, and joints in a wide range of materials such as metal, wood, stone, concrete, and glass.
LiqRep Plastic is ideal for repairing bumpers, spoilers, radiator grilles, headlight housings, interior trim panels, brackets and clips, air filter housings, and much more.
- High-strength connection, slightly flexible, fracture-proof, and vibration-resistant.
- High gap filling capacity of up to 30 mm.
- Temperature resistance from -40°C to +120°C (-40°F to +248°F).
- Optimum processing temperature at +22 °C (+71.6°F).
- Working time/pot life of 60–90 seconds.
- Fast finishing after 15–20 minutes (can also be painted over).
- Complete curing after 24 hours.
- Resistant to UV, weathering and ageing.
- Resistant to water, salt water, coolants, oil and many chemicals and to a limited extent to fuel.
- Suitable for PE and PP; briefly flame the surfaces to be bonded (0.5 to 1 second).
- Not suitable for PTFE.
Curing takes place through the chemical reaction of the two constituents, isocyanate and polyol.
